DJ Van Keuren joins the Passive Cash Flow Podcast to explain the world of Family Offices and how he has helped them build their wealth, primarily in real estate, over the last few decades. DJ drops some valuable nuggets for how people can connect with Family Offices and build a business relationship with them. DJ is able to speak from personal experience in that he created the Family Office Real Estate Institute that teaches how Family Offices can preserve and build their wealth through real estate.
Currently a Co-Managing Member of Evergreen Property Partners, a Family Office Real Estate Consortium, DJ was named as one of Family Capitals Top 10 US Family Office Real Estate Professionals a top 50 family office advisors globally and as one of Trusted Insight’s Top 30 Real Estate Investors at a Family Office.
Mr. Van Keurens experience includes President of Real Estate for a family member of a professional baseball team, Vice President for the Hayman Family Office, the Single Family Office of the Hayman Family who was the founder of Giorgio Perfume. Here he was responsible for family office capital and the real estate activities which supported Hayman Properties, an affiliate of the Hayman Family Office. Previously he worked as the Director of Family Office Capital for the Arsenal Family Office (SFO) working on their real estate portfolio and investments and Managing Director for the Jain Family Office (SFO), a real estate family out of Mumbai India.
Over his 25 years’ of experience, he was the Managing Director of the American Dream Fund, a fund that was positioned to be the first Single Family REIT and has been responsible $5B USD in real estate assets. DJ is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council, author of ”Real Estate Investing for Family Offices”, founder of The Family Office Real Estate Institute, The Family Office Real Estate Magazine, and is a frequent speaker at family office conferences around the world. DJ was a Family Wealth Alliance finalist for its Best In Industry Awards for Thought Leadership and Special Industry Contributions awards. He has been mentioned in the New York Times, Family Office Elite, Real Asset Advisor, National Real Estate Investor, Private Wealth and Forbes. Mr. Van Keuren the current President of the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization and a prior Board Member for the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard.
DJ received his B.A. from Ball State University where he was a member of the Div IA baseball team, attended graduate studies in Real Estate from the NYU Schack Real Estate Institute, and received his Masters Degree from Harvard University in Management.
